History
Euromedic began operations in Ireland with its successful acquisition of MRI Ireland in March 2007. This acquisition enabled the company to provide high quality diagnostic services in both The Republic of Ireland as well as Northern Ireland (UK).
The acquisition included two semi-mobile MRI centres which provide service to Sligo Hospital and Ulster Independent Clinic in Belfast, Northern Ireland (UK). In addition, to the first two mobile units in Euromedic’s portfolio including: one mobile MRI centre and one mobile CT centre which provide services for four hospitals Castlebar, Ballinasloe, Naas and Maynooth.
In July 2007, Euromedic acquired a second Irish company, Advanced Radiology. This acquisition includes two state-of-the-art, multi modality diagnostic centres around Dublin: Rockfield Medical Campus in Balally, Dublin 14 and Dublin City University Urgent Care Centre, Dublin 9. Advanced Radiology was established in 2002 as Centres of Excellence in radiology, dedicated to providing the highest possible standard of diagnostic imaging services in a pleasant comfortable environment. The advanced nature and the proven effectiveness of the leading-edge technology at the centre, together with the first-class staffing and procedures, has established a new paradigm for radiology services in Ireland.
In January 2008, Euromedic continued its expansion in Ireland with the acquisition of Northwood Imaging Radiology & MRI Centre. This acquisition includes a state-of-the-art multi-modality diagnostics centre located in the charming woodlands of Santry Demesne; Dublin, Ireland.Northwood Imaging which was established in April 2005, is a well recognized and respected Imaging Diagnostic company. The company and its team of 22 medical professionals including a highly respected team of seven Irish Radiologists (Dr. Ronan Browne, Dr. Samuel Hamilton, Dr. Eric Colhoun, Dr. William Torreggiani, Dr. Martin Ryan, Dr. Sean McKenna and Dr. Brian McGlone) have provided diagnostic services to more than 28,000 patients. The centre is designed to provide its patients a wide range of high quality diagnostic services including: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound, DXA Scan and Panoramic Dental Radiology.
IMC Charlemont was acquired by Euromedic in March 2008. “Charlemont Imaging Clinic” is a multi-modality outpatient / diagnostics centre located in the heart of Dublin's city center. The company, which was established in 1987 by two of Dublin’s finest Radiologists, Dr. Gerard D. Hurley and Dr. David McInerney, is a well recognized imaging diagnostic company serving the community for over 20 years. The diagnostic imaging services are provided by an expert team of Radiographers and Consultant Radiologists, supported by a professional administrative staff.
The company provides a wide range of diagnostics procedures including: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computer Tomography (CT), X- Ray, Ultrasound, Bone Densitometry (DEXA) and Dental CT/OPG. The “Charlemont Clinic” performs in excess of 23,000 diagnostic investigations annually.
In October 2008, Euromedic acquired “Lablink” Laboratory in Dublin, Ireland. The acquisition was strategic for the company as it now entered a new line of specialized medical service in the country; in addition to the six imaging diagnostic centres Euromedic currently owns and operates in the country. Lablink was established in 2001 by a team of medical professionals with extensive experience in the clinical and corporate healthcare sectors. The commitment of the company is to provide a unique streamlined clinical laboratory service.
Lablink’s primary focus is to provide a complete service encompassing all aspects of laboratory analysis from collection of samples to reporting. A major component of this type of service involves fast tracking and reporting of accurate, accredited results, which enables Euromedic to provide a highly streamlined system through electronic requesting of tests, bar coding of samples and electronic turnaround of results. Reports are sent electronically to the referrers desktop and integrated into their patient management system. Lablink is one of the market leaders in Corporate Health Screening and Occupational Health Services and with its staff of 19 medical professionals performs over 250,000 clinical examinations annually.

In June 2009, Euromedic acquired ”Diagnostics Health Ltd.” a multi-modality Radiological Diagnostics Centre in Cork, the second largest city in Ireland.
Diagnostic Health Centre is a well established brand with over 15 years of distinguished service to the community. The company offers a range of high quality diagnostic imaging services including: Mammography, Dexa (Bone Densitometer), Ultra-sound and X-ray.
The centre is led by the (Co-owners) Radiographers Sandra O’Donnell and Peter C. Murphy, who collectively have nearly 30 years of radiography experience between them and together with their team of 10 medical professionals perform 12,000 investigations annually.
