Prestigious out-patient centre, one of the first CyberKnife centres in Europe and one of the busiest in the world. Currently accepting enquiries from international patients for brain, spine, lung and neurosurgical treatments, this centre recently pioneered a new treatment for uveal melanoma, which can save removal of the eye.

A multidisciplinary panel will weigh CyberKnife against other alternatives to suggest the most appropriate treatment in your case.

HealthCare Global Enterprises Ltd. is South Asia's largest cancer care provider with centres across India, including the Bangalore Institute of Oncology (BIO) Specialty Centre, with 60 medical oncology beds, a tertiary care ICU, a bone marrow transplant unit and a PET-CT unit. In February 2009, HCG opened its new CyberKnife Centre in Bangalore.

Sometimes we provide a dedicated e-mail address and we pass your enquiry to the relevant department but we cannot advise or enter into correspondence about individual cases and we do not arrange or facilitate treatments. All the centres that we feature have international patient enquiry services which will be pleased to answer your questions about services and costs.

Through MHL' s free service you gain access to some of the most modern English speaking CyberKnife centres in the world, many of which also have staff fluent in a range of languages. We do not recommend one centre over another but we help you to make an informed choice and a successful application.

Individual surgeons bring their own experience and expertise in their specialised areas, so it is not surprising that the different centres are developing their own treatment protocols. Many centres do not respond to direct enquiries from patients, or only from local patients and many do not have web sites in English.

CyberKnife is not a single treatment but a sophisticated tool. The range of hardware and software available to support it is always expanding and CyberKnife itself has evolved through various models since it was introduced.

New CyberKnife centres are opening around the world, but there are still many countries without one, and the best centre for your particular case may not be the nearest one.
